Introduction

The name of the festival has been changed, but this isn't the only innovation of the sixth edition of the festival, becoming more and more international.

The location is still the same, 35.000 squared meters of "Parco Nord" in Noventa, and unchanged is the twinning with "Sziget festival" in Budapest, Europe's biggest festival.

Another unchanged aspect are the days devoted to music and show, taking place from the 16th to the 25th of July. Only the musical offer is changing, increasing underlined by the "we love music" slogan, which gives evidence to the strong variety of musical and artistic proposals, with various kind of music.

National and international artists on the stage of Venice DOC Festival will entertain the audience, starting their performances at 10 p.m. every night; on the Second Stage, facing the Main Stage, will perform brand new bands form the Italian musical scene, and after midnight everyone could be dancing with dj sets. Each of the 10 nights will show a unique musical offer.

The most important innovation concerning music will take place on the first two nights, becoming "Venice Sunsplash", the greatest reggae festival in Italy.

Hosted in Osoppo since 1994, for the first time this year will move to Venice. These two days will be broadcasted along the whole national territory by Radio Base Popolare Network.
